Suggested Way to Use Chain Cleaner
- Change your rear gear to the biggest gear first so that it will be easier for you to move the chain through the chain cleaner.
- Open the cover so that you can pour the cleaning solution (Kerosene can be used) into the chain cleaner.
- Place the bicycle chain into the chain cleaner and replace back the cover.
- Start pedaling so that the chain can move through the chain cleaner to start the chain cleaning process.
- Continue to pedal until the chain is clean
- Pour away the dirty cleaning solution and wash the chain cleaner
- Add water mixed with detergent into the chain cleaner and move the chain through the chain cleaner again.
- Use dry cloth to wipe dry the chain. The chain should be clean at this stage
- Please put Sylion Bicycle Chain Lubricant Oil after cleaning. Else, your chain will start to rust within a few days.
