I got an empty jar and halved the product into both jars. I added hot water and stirred/whisked until the product became runny. After washing/rinsing, I add my leave-in conditioner and any other product of choosing. I add about two fingertips full (it runs off the fingers lol), and rub through my hair. Then top off with a Shine... It WORKS just fine! Now, if you're worried about shrinkage, be prepared. You will not have the extra long locks because you will have shrinkage! Trust me. I pull my hair in the top after it dries, but that's a minor issue and it doesn't matter to me because I have a short hair cut, but my daughter loves it too for the curl definition she gets with her twists and wash-n-goes. For those who like the afro look on parts or all over your head, this will make your curls look awesome! It melts into the instantly smoothing down frizz.
