I start these bags with a new nylon backpack made by Port Authority. I cover the entire bag with a new decorative cotton fabric. I've also added an outside zipper compartment. The nylon makes the inside of the backpack waterproof so it is great for carrying school lunches. Several people have also bought them to carry as a summer swim/beach bag. Simply turn the bag inside out to dry. You can also machine wash these bags in cold water and then line dry. The bag measures approximately 16" x 13.75". Color at top of bag shows what color the inside lining is. These bags are great for any age. All nylon bags are covered with cotton fabrics. Machine wash cold, line dry.
