| Seasonal Theme: Dancing Water The theme of ‘Dancing Water’ was inspired by the piano piece ‘Jeux d'eau’ by Maurice Ravel. The French title is often translated as ‘Playing Water’ ‘Fountains’ or ‘Water Games’. Series 31 Theme Series 31 draws inspiration from the piano pieces ‘Gaspard de la nuit’ by Maurice Ravel. The pieces themselves are based on the collection of poems written by Aloysius Bertrand. The poems feature romance between a human man and an undine (water nymph) as well as aquatic themes which are represented in the collection. Sparkling lame threads depict the beautiful shine of moonlight as it reflects on the surface of a calm lake setting the backdrop to this beautiful collection. |

Sparkling lame threads depict the shine of the moon while layered tulle applique creates a gorgeous look. ‘Princess’ pattern cups raise the chest creating an enchanting cleavage. ‘Princess’ pads shape the sides of the body and help raise the bust.
