Toluene is a solvent that was used in many nail polish formulations to dissolve other ingredients and make a nice smooth, easy-to-apply polish. After application to the nail, toluene will volatilize, or evaporate and leave a smooth, glossy finish.

Technically, nail polishes don’t contain straight formaldehyde, they contain a resin called tosylamide formaldehyde resin. This resin ensured that the polish adhered to the nail’s surface and made the polish tough and resilient.

Mirror Effect Polish is a 1 coater with 2 swipes as shown in the video. 2 swipes for smaller nail beds or short nails. Max is 3 swipes if you have larger nail beds or long nails. This technique is tested by us and our guest bloggers

If you cannot get it right for 1 coater, try 2 very thin coats then allow 1 minute for the 1st coat to dry before putting on the 2nd coat.

All Mirror polishes wears off faster than normal polishes due to the smooth formula. (known fact in nails community). To make it last longer, apply a good quality base and top coat. You can also apply gel base or top coat that requires curing as this makes it look shinier and lasting too. Above techniques are tested by our guest bloggers over many trials and errors
