Using it enables a person to smell acceptable for multiple days. Non-bacterial soaps do not have the long-lasting effect that Safeguard soap has. I also keep it in the kitchen, since It does kill bacteria. Many food and beverage establishments use this for the employees as well. I have very sensitive skin, can not use soaps like dial or I will break out and itch all over, and typically will use baby products, if I can't get safeguard. It is a good deodorizing soap as well. Aside from adding aloe to some, which you can still get it without, its so nice to have a product that has not " new and improved " itself so much, you are not getting the same trusted product as you did, and can be secure in what your getting with no surprises. I do like the fact they added aloe, to help soften the skin. I have been using this soap for around 40+ years.
