Compared to tx-USB, tX-USB exp is a PCI-based DDC product that is improved in PCI express bus, USB 3.0 support, noise reduction circuit, audio band jitter performance-enhanced clock, and special noise reduction circuitry for clock to significantly block noises and renovated the sound quality based on USB output.

tX-USB exp is PCI express USB 3.0 host card that enables upgrade of USB audio performance of standard PC to High-End grade.

To minimize the noise and improve the sound quality, these technologies are applied as below.
- More advanced PC power supply ripple noise filter & RF noise filter.
- Ultra Low Noise Linear regulator circuit.

tX-USB exp supports one USB 3.0 port and adds in external power input jack to allow external linear power supply and battery.

And it has USB port power on/off function.

tX-USB is designed with most of contents required as an USB port for audio, and therefore, it is possible to see an evident improvement in sound quality in even the PC without any tuning.
If a well-tuned PC is used, there will be no problem in creating harmony with even a very fine audio system.
