The OCTAHIVE is a nasty, splashy, super high gain FUZZ, with a well pronounced high octave generated by a transformer. It's high pitched octave can be turned of by the flick of a switch, giving you a warmer FUZZ tone, great for single notes and power chord riffs. On that same mode, find a sweet spot for the PRE and HONEY controls, and you can achieve some nice low gain OD/FUZZ tones. Back to the OCTAVE MODE. The high octave is best achieved when you roll of the PRE gain, and tone control of your instrument. Its octave tone sounds great for LEADS and SOLOS, specially when played above the 12th fret. On lower gain settings you can also make some pretty weird/cool ring modulator tones. The OCTAHIVE was based on the 1970's pedal OCTAVIA, made famous by the master, Jimi Hendrix.
