dockXtender for Lightning cables are not currently compatible with the Otterbox "Armor" case for iPhone 5. They are also not compatible with V1 of LifeProof's "frē" & "nüüd" cases for iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, however they ARE compatible with their V2 models, released in 2015.
