The ALTII 710 is the premier shoulder pad for Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers.

TAG uses the newest technologies to make not only one of the safest shoulder pads on the market but one of the lightest.

The ALTII 710 utilizes a new advanced honeycomb technology. This technology makes the pad 4% lighter than the older ALT series pads and 20% lighter than other shoulder pads on the market. The honeycomb technology discovered by the performance shoe industry as a way of making a lightweight material with high-energy absorption and long-term durability. Tests show that the ALTII 710 absorbs 19% more energy compared to other leading conventional energy foams like EVA.

The new epaulet (shoulder plate), made from clear polycarbonate, is one of the strongest in the industry. Energy is transferred around the entire epaulet, therefore moving the energy over the entire surface area and away from the player, greatly reducing shoulder injuries.

The ALTII 710 has a redesigned clavicle system. The 2-layer system uses both XP and EVA foams and is designed to absorb and transfer energy from impact around the pad for the most protection for the player. This new design has 25% less energy transferred to the player compared to older designs. The inner deltoid pads are removable by Velcro allowing a customizable fit.

The ALTII 710 is prepared with Aegis Antimicrobial mesh lining treatment. Aegis is a revolutionary bonded antimicrobial technology developed by DOW Chemical. This protective lining controls odor, staining, and deterioration caused by bacteria, fungus, and other microorganisms.
