The Contour Next control solution and OWell blood lancets are necessary refills, so you can properly test your glucose level. These 2 products are needed to be used before you actually draw your blood to the test strips.

Bayer Contour Next Control Solution
Control Solution plays an important role to insure that you’re testing will provide accurate results. Before testing it is recommended to take a test strip from the vial of which you will test yourself and place the appropriate amount of control solution on the strip. Then place the test strip into the meter and wait for the appropriate results to appear as instructed on the bottle.
This Control Solution can be used with the Bayer Contour Next EZ Meter and Test Strips or the Bayer Contour Next Black Meter and Test Strips. It will NOT work with the Bayer Contour Meter and Test Strips.
OWell Blood Glucose Lancets
Clean the area ready to be pricked thoroughly with an alcohol pad or, soap and water. It is important that the area is dry from any alcohol or residue left from soap. Place the sterile blood lancet into a lancing device, set it so you can properly lance the area of your desire. Then draw the blood and place it on a test strip. Do not use any lancet needle twice, it will not provide you with accurate test results.
