Peshtemal absorbs water as good as a terry towel, dry in no time. Our Peshtemals owe their absorbency to the Turkish cotton used in their fabric. The nature of the fibre of this special cotton allows us to weave the thinnest, the lightest and the most absorbent towels of the world. Please wash it before use. The first wash will increase its absorbency. You can use detergent or soap but don''t use a fabric softener. Because this will diminish its absorbency. They get softer as you wash them more and more and get more beautiful as they age.
