PICTAR has a familiar grip and hand feel like a conventional single lens reflex camera.

By developing the PICTAR application and the PICTAR main body and further adopting ergonomic grip, we were able to shoot with one hand even from the running jeep.

Very easy to use dedicated PICTAR application

PICTAR is designed to communicate with the iPhone by transmitting high frequency sound waves through a dedicated camera application.

A specific ultrasonic wave is assigned to each wheel or button, and by pressing a dial operation or a button, PICTAR generates ultrasonic waves.

The PICTAR application detects the ultrasonic wave and operates.

Ultrasound (18,500 - 20,000 kHz) can not be heard by the human ear and does not perform Bluetooth connection or Wi - Fi connection, so it is designed to be connected to the iPhone and battery life etc.

Flexible size adjustment

Production background of PICTAR

Eighteen months ago I took a two - hour break in New York to go to the Ground Zero Memorial.

However, Guy who is also a photographer has put his own SLR camera in the office.

For that reason, I only had my iPhone to take pictures.

He was disappointed with the inconvenience of photography of the iPhone and decided that the next product of miggo was grip control for iPhone photographer.

Six months passed, the miggo team created a design sketch and began developing PICTAR.

At that time, I noticed that I am looking for innovative products I had never seen before making the camera function of iPhone even easier to use.

The PICTAR main body has become a design concept pursuing ease of use of cameras and camera-like design.
