Exile Machine's dipped rubber cover is a material that looks like foam but is actually randomly textured rubber. It is closed on one end. This end can be opened up by the customer as desired, using a razor knife. Thousands of uses as a replacement grip on weightlifting machines, garden tools, buffer tube covers etc.

SPECIFICATIONS: 6" long, 1.22" ID, 1/8" thick.

FDE Color is an excellent match to MAGPUL's FDE color. Other manufacturers FDE may or may not be as good a match. The product is made from FDE colored rubber. The color is not painted on or otherwise applied to the surface.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Lube it with alcohol-based gel hand sanitizer. Lube the inside of the cover and the outside surface of the tube. Use a lot of gel, don't go sparingly here, the stuff is cheap. Wear a leather or cloth glove to prevent blisters while sliding the cover onto the tube. The alcohol will eventually dry off, 1-2 days up to a week but you can start using the cover immediately. Resist the temptation to use dish soap as a lube. It will work but it will never evaporate and you'll have a sloppy loose fit and the cover might come off. Removal of the cover is easy. Just make a small cut and rip it right off. NOTE: This will destroy the cover.
