1 . Intense Heat
This menu groups the type of ingredients that need high heat to extract flavours and essence.
– Nutritious soup : Includes ABC soup, lotus roots soup, pumpkin soup, tomato soup, carrot soup where vegetables, roots, fruits form the main ingredients.
– Rib soup : Suitable for soup consisting mainly of rib meat.
– Chicken soup : Soup with poultry, like chicken or duck as the main ingredient.
– Bean soup : For beans, like red beans, that need more time and higher cooking temperature to achive desired softness and flavour.
– Thick soup : Braising recipes with gravy like chicken mushroom stew, potatoe beef stew or raddish lamb rib stew.
2 . Mild Heat
This menu groups the type of ingredients that need longer time to stew while using lower heat to preserve the flavours and its essence.
– Tendon soup : For soup consisting mainly of tendons or big bones.
– Knuckle soup
– Multi-grain : Stewing porridge with brown rice, 5 grain rice, cereals or others.
– Porridge : White rice porridge with fish fillets, sliced meat, meat balls and/ or others.
– Dessert : For dessert that have eg., lotus seed or lily pear as main ingredients.
3 . Fast Stew
Faster cooking. Higher heat input, 2 hours factory-programmed stewing time.
4 . Double Stew
Uses ‘three-quarter power’ of fast stew function. Stew soup at simmering heat for 4 hours to break down meat and at the same time infuse flavours of the spices suggested in the recipes to cook the aroma filled, delicious, mouth watering soup.
