Explanation of Ingredients

Glucosamine Sulfate 2 KCL is a small aminosaccharide that supports cartilage metabolism. It is an important building block for our chondrocytes (cartilage cells). Consequently, glucosamine supports the preservation of cartilage and synovial fluid. Glucosamine additionally inhibits the production of certain enzymes which are harmful to the cartilage.

Chondroitin sulfate is a complex glycosaminoglycan present in articular cartilage and is a major contributor to the water-binding capacity of the cartilage. The molecule promotes the shock absorbing ability of the cartilage. Like glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate stops the production of certain enzymes that are harmful to the cartilage.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound in the body. It also has a soothing effect on stiff joints and rigid muscles. The body's production of this compound decreases with increasing age.

Type II collagen is the main protein of articular cartilage and is responsible for the strength and elasticity of the cartilage.

Omega-3 fatty acids are not only important for our bodies’ metabolism, but also help in joint mobility.

Hyaluronic acid is the main component of synovial fluid and acts as a lubricant for all joint movements.

Harpagophytum procumbens, also called devil's claw, is an herb with a powerful soothing effect on joints.

Boswellia serrata is a natural extract from the resin of the Boswellia Serrata tree, also called frankincense tree, with a very soothing effect on stiff joints.

Urtica dioica or stinging nettle is a plant which is known to contain compounds which inhibit the formation of harmful enzymes, including the enzymes that destroy the cartilage.

DL-α-tocopherol (Vitamin E) plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy cells and therefore, also our cartilage cells. It is a powerful anti-oxidant that gives more energy and provides a general feeling of strength and well-being.
