Q: I am unable to access Internet after switching the phone on for the first time.
A: Data connection is not switch on by default. You need to turn on the “Data connection”. You can switch on “Data Connection” by pulling down the notification bar, press the option (top-right icon with the person image). Touch “DATA CONNECTION” to turn on Data.
For customers in UAE, Abu Dhabi, the access point names might be missing. The access point names have to be keyed in manually to the system. Go to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names. If there are no access point names found, touch the “Context Menu (bottom left icon)” and choose “New APN”. Fill in the access point name as given by your telecom service providers.

Q1: Is the iNO 2 a certified camera-removed phone?
A: No. The iNO 2 is a dedicated factory-built model for users who need an original non-camera smartphone and who cannot accept phone models that are camera-removed.
Q2: How is the battery life?
A: The use of AMOLED screen helps to reduce the consumption of battery. Do remember to use a black background as a wallpaper. Also the internet is filled with user tips and battery management apps; just check out our facebook page or our guide to maximising battery life found on this website as well as various Android forums for some useful tips.
Q3: Can this android phone support wireless hotspot tethering?
A: Yes, it supports the standard android “Tethering & portable hotspot”. Go to Menu > Settings > Tethering & portable hotspot.
Q4: I want to make a bulk order purchase.

Q5: Is the Android Operating System upgradeable to 4.4 (kit kat)?
A: iNO 2 comes pre-installed with Android 4.2.2 jellybean. We have no plans to upgrade it to kit kat in the near future.
Q6: Where do I go for warranty support?
A: All iNO phones are serviced and repaired locally by our in-house team at our service center at 1 Sims Lane.
Q7: Can you show us some benchmark results on battery life?
A: We are using Antutu Benchmark. The performance of the iNO 2 is comparable to Samsung Galaxy S3, Google Nexus 4 and HTC One X.

Q8: Does the phone come with Google Play? Can it support whatsapp/viber/skype?
A: The phone comes pre-installed with Google Play (Marketplace). Through the marketplace, you can install the Android applications from the Play Store, including whatsapp, viber & skype.
Q9: Does the phone have a dedicated GPS?
A: Yes, the phone comes with a dedicated GPS which you can use with or without WIFI/3G. Now you can enjoy the benefits of GPS anywhere in the world for free! It tracks satellites using its own internal GPS antenna. The phone does not come with pre-installed GPS software. You can download for free from the Play Store: GPS status and GPS test.
Q10: Do you know that USB cables are not allowed in certain camps?
A: Yes, we are well aware of these restrictions. The phone comes with the standard detachable USB charger. However, you can purchase the non-detachable USB charger for use in those camps. You can still charge the phone using normal microUSB cables.
