We all know, shaving can be irritating for the skin, especially for those of us with thicker follicles. No matter what we try, we always end up with nicks, or ingrown hairs, as the other brands, simply don't have added benefit of a product like this. It goes onto the skin like melted butter, making it feel supple and refreshed. Looking in the mirror, you will notice an little extra shine to your face, that mimics that of a normal moisturizer. Therefore, not only does this product help your skin revitalize after shaving, it gives you the glow of fresh, conditioned skin! You will not believe the difference between this product, and (most) others, that sting, burn, and leave you feeling like your face is on fire! Its the last step of The Art of Shaving experience, and its definitely the best! When i felt it between my fingers before applying it i could already tell it was a good product because it immediately made my fingers feel softer. Once i applied it to my face it went on smoothly but at first left my face really shiny. I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not that part is a good thing. Anyways once it set in and dried i was amazed at how soft and smooth my skin was. There were no unsightly red bumps or razor burn and my skin actually looked and felt younger. There really wasn't even any sting like you can experience with most conventional after shave products which was a big plus as well. So all in all from start to finish this is, in my opinion, a quality kit that embraces a good system for getting a close, comfortable, clean shave. It is a product worth the investment. I waited a few days and tried the product a few times before writing a review to ensure that I give a proper review. I can tell you that this product like the rest of the unscented products from the art of shaving left my skin irritation free. My skin felt refreshed and moisturized after using this product. This was the last step in the process so I definitely think using them all it a must but this product was definitely the perfect balm for the last step. It isn't stick and has no scent. Felt nice to the skin.
