Description:

The E585 gives you wireless internet whenever you want. The Mobile Wi-Fi sends out a signal so you can connect to the internet without needing any wires. The E585 enables you to connect up to five devices at once.

The E585 is small enough to fit in your pocket. Just turn on the Wi-Fi signal and connect to it using any Wi-Fi enabled device.

The E585 gives you maximum speeds of 7.2 mbps HSDPA (download) and 5.7 mbps HSDPA (upload) and can can provide internet connection of up to 4.5 hours on a full battery charge.

 

 

How to maximize your Mobile Phone subscription plan:
As a Mobile Phone user, one will rarely exceed 1GB of data usage a month unless you are a very very heavy user. Thus to maximize the data plan, one could get a dual SIM card( 1 time registration fee + $5 monthly) and pair it with the E585, thus allowing the user to surf on their other devices such as Ipads, Laptops, Galaxy Tab, Tablet PC, etc.

Hi, I din know that my Huawei E585 can actually perform as NAS.
I still go online to look for AirStash, Seagate GoFlex and etc.
I have bought this Huawei E585 from one of our forumer (for $99 plus extra battery) quite sometimes ago as he bring some back from Australia . All along my new ipad and my wife ipad 2 only have Wifi as we dun need 3G model as I have this mifi.
I put in a 4 Gb microSD in my E585. I call the tech support and was told that I can access my microsd card via ipad browser. I try mp3 and jpeg, all works. I have yet try video. If can, bingo! I can watch my HK drama liao..while my wife can surf net or edit doc and save back to the Mifi. I din know such small device can do such thing. I thought that the microsd card can only access via USB to PC.

Latest finding.
I install OPlayer Lite (free version).
It take sometime to load the file to play, especially avi file which is 600Mb and above.
1. rmvb can play thru Huawei E585 but audio out of sync.
2. Avi also can be play thru Huawei E585.
3. Mp3 also can be play.
4. Photo can be displayed.
All playback will not be jerky unless u scroll ahead.
Basically what the format Oplayer can play, means can play.
