The patch test shows any primary irritation or contact dermatitis (by provoking allergic skin reactions in sensitised volunteers) through epicutaneous, spatially and temporally restricted exposure to the formulation under examination.
The trial substances are applied under occlusive conditions as part of the patch test in order to boost their absorption. To produce a positive reaction it is necessary to exceed the threshold sensitivity value.

TIP OF USE:

Directions: Apply a small amount of lotion to Baby’s skin. Gently massage until absorbed.
