The holder which we are selling is a new design. In the new design, the magnet is not mounted on the back of the device. Thus, users will no longer need to worry about the magnet afffecting the phone functionability or appearance. See below for the comparison against the older model.

Old design - user have to mount  magnet onto back of phone                                                                                  

New design - User only have to mount a 0.3mm thick mounting plate onto the back of the phone

Installation guide

 Remarks: When mounting the magnet onto the holder, please kindly ensure that the side with the flat rubber surface is mounted onto the holder. The magnet side with the concave surface is to be in contact with the mounting plate. Wrong mounting would reduce the holding strength of the magnet.
