Brief History
In 2009 Lifegen Technologies published a scientific research on a twin pair of Rhesus monkey. The research focus on how Caloric restriction (CR), without malnutrition, delays aging and extends life span in diverse species in US National Library of Medicine, National Institues of Health and American Association for the Advancement of Science. It was one of the most revolutionary science discovery about aging, genes and caloric restriction that make headlines on CNN. The same year, Nu Skin signs research agreement with Lifegen and developed numerous new products under the new branding called ageLOC.
A year later in 2010, Lifegen was awarded with grants from United States National Institute on Aging and National Institutes of Health for their research on adipose tissue (fat) that are regulated by a calorie restricted diet.
