I placed it in my gun safe and it wouldn't stop turning on and off. It kept turning off and on every thirty or sixty seconds based on the setting--I tried both time intervals. I had the safe door closed and locked with no movement inside and it kept turning on after being off for just a second or two. This would be an awesome light if not for the aforementioned problem. I think I'm going to return it for another copy of this same light because I'd love it if only it worked properly. It really lights up the safe when it's on. If you don't need the motion sensing feature and just want to turn on manually, then this is a great light. Two of them were defective - wouldn't light up at all, so I returned them to my local store for a refund.
