I measured it and it is just short of the 7.5" advertised. This is as a straight line. Once you close it, you would lose a little more of that length. Decent little golden cardboard box, legitimate made in Italy sterling. Excellent unscratched flawless charm. The bracelet is a tiny bit daintier than I imagined, , dont get my wrong its still robust, just not as thick as some others I have seen.
