Key to Effective Feng Shui Items
ALL our amulet talismans are Consecrated and literally works right out of the box. However for those who have specific requests or who just want to see better results, you may choose to perform additional Self-Consecration (see below) to make the item more personal and to cater to one's specific needs. Do not fret, it is actually quite simple and really worth your while to do it.
Self-Consecration - Quick Guide
Step 1: Go to temple near your home and peform the standard prayers (joss sticks and papers). Consult the temple assistants if you are unsure how to pray at a particular temple. State your name, DOB and address and inform the deity you are there to consecrate the talisman. Request the deity to infuse the talisman with positive energy so that the talisman can help you with respect to........(whatever requests you might have can be stated here)
Step 2: Take the item and circle it round the main urn clockwise 3 times. Say a prayer of thanks and donate some money to the temple.
Thats it! The item is officially self-consecrated.

RENEWAL AND DISPOSAL
It would be ideal to request for a new talisman every year. However you can also choose to perform self-consecration once in 2 years to 're-charge' the item. If the item is no longer needed, place it in a red packet (angpao), thanked the item and put it into the recycle bin for metal. Instead of disposing it, one can also consider using it as a bookmark.
