Q1. Are the seeds suitable for Singapore climate?

A. Yes definitely, we tried and tested all products in Singapore.

Q2. How long does it take for the seeds to germinate?

A. Typically 3-7 days.

Q3. Where should I place the plants?

A. Ideally next to window, at balcony or garden where there is sunlight and air.

Suitable for HDB and private housings.

Q4. Are the products safe for use?

A. Yes, they are checked and issued Phytosanitary Certificate by the regulating authorities in South Korea.
Phytosanitary Certificate is a certificate that certifies plant and plant products are free from regulated pests, and conforms with other phytosanitary requirements as specified from the importing country.

Q5. How often do we need to add water to Green Family Kit?

A. You can add water when water level is low. (Transparent planter allows for easy checking) Young seedlings typically need less water than full grown plants. It also depends on weather and amount of sunlight.

Q6. Do I need to repot my plants into bigger pots? Any specific soil?

A. Optional. As you can see in the photos, all plants blossom in the given Green Family Pot.^^

If you wish to repot, you may use any other soil (can mix with our cocopeat provided).

Q7. How long can I keep the products if unopened?

A. You may keep for about 1 year. Store in cool, dry place.

Singapore has high humdity, recommend to put in air-tight box with silica gel, away from sunlight.

Q8. Love to know more about the Sweet Basil?
Trim the basil plant so it gets large and bushy. You may cook & eat the leaves. Basil leaves contain health benefiting essential oils such as eugenol, citronellol and terpineol. These compounds are known to have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Q9. Love to know more about the Cherry Tomato?

The tomato plants will be full growing at around 20-25cm after after 30 days. Petite 1cm size cherry tomatoes (10--15pcs per plant) can be seen after 40-80 days.

Lemon eucalyptus oil, the common name of one of the natural oils obtained from the lemon-scented gum eucalyptus plant, has gained popularity as an insect repellant. It is generally safe for most adults when applied to skin as a mosquito repellent.

Citronella oil is also a plant-based insect repellent, and has been registered for this use in the United States since 1948.

In Thai, srann is a poetic word which means ‘being happy’. We chose this name because we are very happy to make this soap and hope to make our employees, farmers and customers happy also.

srann was founded in 2012 and we started selling worldwide in 2013. In the future, we intend to open a larger workshop and train women in rural areas to make soap for us. This will enable them to feed their families without having to leave their homes to find work whilst we can provide natural soap which is affordable for everyone.

IN THAI, SRANN IS A POETIC WORD WHICH MEANS ‘BEING HAPPY’.

We chose this name because we are very happy to make this soap and hope to make our employees, farmers and customers happy also.

We are a family business, producing cold process handmade soap and organic skincare from local ingredients – rainwater, cold pressed oils and homegrown herbs. These have many natural healing properties that are more beneficial than the chemicals used in most commercial soaps.

The vegetable oils help to moisturise the skin and the Thai herbs, renowned for their use in spa treatments around the world, give the skin a natural, healthy glow.The province of Phrae, where we make our soap, is very special to us because it is one of the few places where we can find fresh, clean rainwater in Thailand. Rainwater is the purest form of water and it creates a natural lather, usually not possible with other herbal soaps.

We are proud to say that our soap does not cause any harm to the environment. Because there are no chemicals involved in the soap making process, the byproducts do not contaminate the water supply. We also do not test on animals. We try all of our products at home first to make sure they are good for the whole family. Then we know they will be good for you too.

We support local people to grow herbs for us using natural methods. This shows them that they can easily create high quality ingredients in their own garden, without the use of chemicals. We are happy that this helps them appreciate the richness of their land.
