It is characterized by a series of semicircular lames which go over the shoulder and upper arm. Specifically, Gothic design really made a splash into medieval armor styles with its curves ending in cusps and its fluting and rippling work. Comfort is added with interior leather. With authentic design, this handsome pair is crafted from 18 gauge steel with cusps and fluting on each lame. Adjustable leather straps and buckle allow easy attachment to an arming jacket or gambeson. Fully functional with ease of movement, these spaulders are great for costumes and re-enactments.
