The Nunc 174977 cover slip has a 22mm diameter and is made of Thermanox plastic for sterile use in growing tissue culture for microscopic inspection. It fits inside a 6-well microplate (sold separately) for growing a tissue culture specimen and keeps specimens compressed to a layer of even thickness when used with microscope slides (sold separately). The polyester film surface is resistant to solvents. The case contains 10 boxes of cover slips, each with 50 cover slips. This cover slip is suitable for use in a variety of microscopic examination applications.
