For the treatment of certain protozoan-caused diseases of fresh water and marine aquarium fish. It is primarily indicated for the control of diseases caused by Hexamita and Spironucleus (the suspected causative agents of "hole-in-the-head" and "head-and-lateral-line-erosion" syndromes in fish). A secondary use for MICROBE-LIFT/Metronidazole is for the control and treatment of ichthyophthiriasis ("ich").

When used as directed MICROBE-LIFT/Metronidazole will not harm biological filtration.

Ingredients

• Metronidazole, synthetic polymers and an inert carrier.

Contraindications

• Do not use with permanganate-based treatments. Do not use with any other medications or treatments.
• Not recommended for use with invertebrates

Cautions

• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid skin and eye contact
• Avoid breathing powder or dust. Use in an area with minimal air movement to prevent blowing of powder or dust
• In case of eye contact immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes
• In case of skin contact wash with a mild soap or detergent and water
• If swallowed, call a physician or poison control center
