It also has a raised grid pattern that promotes airflow beneath your feet to keep them cool and dry. Beneath the SoftWair sockliner is an integrated EVA core, which is included to provide supreme flexibility and cushion so that as your feet move they don't feel the impact of the ground as harshly. The interior also has a moisture-wicking lining that works with the SoftWair sockliner to keep your feet free of sweat and moisture. The molded collar and padded tongue offer the perfect fit. The upper is crafted from soft, industrial-grade tumbled leather. The leather upper is complemented by a durable rubber outsole that's resistant to clogging. The upper and the outsole are held together with PVC welt construction and welt stitching. These slip-resistant boots are made with an iconic heel pull-tab. Lastly, these unisex work boots can protect you from a variety of workplace hazards. They're designed with an alloy toe, and as such, they meet the requirements for the American safety standard ASTM F2413-11 M. The standard tests protective toes for their ability to withstand drop impact and compression. Since this men's footwear passes the test, they have a rating of ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75. But that's not where the standard rating ends. The outsole previously mentioned is capable of preventing harm to you in the event of contact with electric current, giving them an overall rating of ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75. And while we're discussing the outsole and ratings, it's certainly worth mentioning that these EH safety toe boots are so slip-resistant they meet the standard ASTM F1677-2005.
