WHAT ALTHEA IS USED FOR:

Althea is used for the treatment of signs of androgenisation in women, such as severe acne where other treatments have not been successful, or for excessive growth of facial or body hair (known as hirsutism) of a mild to moderate degree, where no underlying cause has been found.

Althea is referred to as TFP’s “beauty pill” because it has the same formulation as that of the more expensive Diane-35.
