Why do I need to refill my bean bag?

Beads can last up to 15 years depending on usage, but they eventually break down upon compression and require replacements. Most bean bags have built-in zippers to allow filling and emptying should you want to wash your cover or change the beads. 


We only use fire proof beads.

 

The best way to refill your bean bag and to avoid spillage is to do it with someone else. One person can hold the bag open around the zip while the other pours the beads. It is best to put the opening of the bag containing the beads into the bean bag to avoid spills. We recommend you to fill the bag indoors as the beads are very light and they could fly around even with light winds.

Don’t worry, it is a manageable task even for a 10 year old kid.

Bean bags now come in all shapes and sizes.
In general, the more defined the shape (e.g. armchair shaped bean bags) the more filled it should be.
Conversely, the simpler the shape (e.g. teardrop or rectangular shaped bean bags) should have some slack for the user to manipulate the bean bag into a comfortable shape.
Ultimately, the amount to be filled varies with individual preference.

Do note that the more you fill, the stiffer the bean bag will be
