Vivino’s 3rd best selling Sauvignon Blanc in USA
Comment:
Now this has to be our most awarded wine maker from New Zealand at the moment. Have a look for yourself further down the page and check out their other wines too! This Sauvignon Blanc is a real gem and can easily stand against the most renowned and overhyped competition. Oysters and Clouds beware! Whitehaven's SB delivers an exceptionally balanced and fragrant taste, it is a light drink from acidity viewpoint. In a sense you just enjoy every sip of it. But if you want to test your nose or taste buds - go ahead and amuse yourself!
Winemaker’s tasting notes:
Displays lifted grapefruit and white currants, with hints of freshly crushed herbs, nettles and flint. The palate has freshness and clean fruit purity, with a finely balanced, refreshing acidity. It shows vibrant varietal aromas, making a powerful palate impression that is quintessential Marlborough. A perfect accompaniment to summer salads, poultry and shellfish, such as Marlborough’s famous green-lipped mussels. Also pairs well with grilled snapper or asparagus frittata.
