Steve Jobs founded Apple, ever since, they’ve improved the lifestyle of millions of users scattered all around the world. Apple have and is still providing a wide array of products, ranging from home computers to personal music players, and smartphones to tablets, they have dominated the consumer electronic market.

Everything you need packed into a thin enclosure with a bigger than life backlit display. This Apple iMac comes in with a 21.5-inch display, its bigger brother however comes in at 27 inches. The LED display is created to be reduce reflection by 75 percent and thanks to this non-reflective display, colour reproduction and readability is enhanced greatly.





Even though the iMac is non reflective, everything seen on its glossy and larger than life display mimics the vivid colours seen in real life. Every time a movie is played, colours will be richer and so much more vibrant, the lighter tints and darker shades are now far more accurate too. All this is done thanks to the iMac’s display to calibrate its colour with its state of the art technology developed by Apple.





Intel recently introduced their fourth-generation Intel Core processors, codenamed Haswell, and the people in Apple wasted no time, they’ve included this new processor into their iMac lineup. The iMac line is standardized with a quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, speeds start at 2.7GHz with the ability to be boosted to 3.4GHz. Haswell processors significantly improves on screen graphics, reduced operating temperatures, and improves efficiency greatly.





Although the Apple iMac comes with the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors, they’ve included a partner to help improve the graphics and over performance. Equipped, are the NVIDIA GeForce 600 series graphic processors, proven to be faster compared to previous GeForce series. Video games will have improved frame rates and faster 3D rendering, editing videos are smoother and responsive, improving productivity and efficiency in the office.





Storage is one of the pet peeves we have when purchasing a personal computer, and the Apple iMac is packing a 1TB hard drive. Ample room to store all of the files you’ll be using, such as applications, documents, and media contents such as movies, songs, e-books and more. Don’t let the 1TB hard drive upset you, if space is what you need and want, there’s room for improvement, 1TB is a standard, but you can upgrade it to a larger capacity up to 3TB.





The 1TB storage comes at a standard, you’re given the choice of a larger space configuration. Apple developed a different kind of hard drive for its iMac. Fusion drive was innovated by Apple to enhance the performance and speed of its hard drive by combining the performance of a flash storage and the space of a standard hard drive. It passively and intelligent manage the data and keeps your “favourite” file on standby for quicker accessibility.





The Apple iMac comes with plenty of connectivity options, log onto the Internet with its WiFI, stream contents, update your tweeter and read the news with this 802.11n technology, improving overall speeds. Data rates will reach up to an astonishing 1.3 Gbps, three times the normal standard. Furthermore, the iMac comes with a pair of Thunderbolt terminals. Each port is able to move 10-Gbps of data, that is twice the speed of USB 3.0.
