I chose the AT811 based upon charge time and affordability. I was skeptical at first because of its light weight. My first impression was cheap quality due to the weight difference between this razor and my old one. I was fooled, this razor is far superior in shave closeness,and in battery life. I have had little or no irritation. I have only used this razor for dry shaving. I am more than impressed with the battery, I have shaved daily, for more than two months, before I have had to recharge the battery. I was beginning to think that the low battery light didn't work. Shaver is easy to hold, easy to recharge. I use 2 to 3 x's/week. I don't shave every day. I also use a safety razor several times per week, for better results on neck area & sideburn edges. Although I am over 80, I still have dark and heavy growth. As a blade shaver for over 40 years, I have tried electrics several times. The best ones I have owned by far, were the Norelco Brand. I have been using this one for about 4 weeks, and it gives me a close shave without a burn. I do use shaving gel with it.
