Important Safety Instructions
1. Do not connect this product to the power supply while still packed to avoid damage caused by intensive heat.
2. The LEDs of the rope light cannot be replaced.
3. Only for use with the supply cord supplied. Never use this rope light with any other supply cord. Danger of electric shock. Do not use if the supply cord damaged.
4. Never connect more than 50 metres, including this rope light, as total length. Never exceed this mimit. Risk of overheating and/or electric shock.
5. If the flexible cord, the mains plug or the interconnector of this supply cord set is damaged the cord must not be used any longer. Warning - do not use the rope light with a damaged cord. Do not use if damaged.
6. Warning - This rope light must not be used without gaskets of the interconnectors being in place.
7. Never use the rope light when interconnections are damaged or when the end cap of the last chain is damaged or missing.
8. Always unplug the product from the power source until installation has been completed.
9. Do not install or use this product in a manner that can damage the pre-assembled rope light, or its outer jacket or its power cord insulation.
10. Do not place this product near a fire or combustible material or flammable liquids. Do not place it near other lights, fireplaces, gas or electric heaters, candles, radiators, or any other sources of heat or fire.
11. Do not cover rope light with cloth, carpet or place on pergolas with shade cloths as the covering may cause the light to overheat and melt or ignite.
12. Avoid extreme bending. See section important safety information for installation for information about bending dimensions.
13. Neither the rope light body nor the supply cord must be subjec to mechanical stress, Do not hang or fix any object to the rope light. Always ensure that the rope light and supply cord are free from pull or torsion force. Attention! Never pierce the rope body or the supply cord with nails, screws or similar devices. Danger of electric shock.
14. Always ensure that supply cord is placed outside the walkways.
15. Do not use if there is any damage to the light insulation. Inspect periodically.
16. Material may become brittle when cold. Do not install where it may be stepped on or subject to physically damage.
17. Mount the rope light out of reach of children, this product is not a toy and must not be used in children's rooms, nurseries, schools or other places wherechildren are usually gathering.
18. Always disconnect from the mains when the rope light is not in use or when you are leaving the house for a longer period. For indoor and outdoor use.
19. To prevent overheating do not allow contact between rope lights. Maintain at least 2cm spacing between 2 lines of rope lights.
20. Do not handle the rope light after an extended period operation until it has sufficient time to cool down.
21. Do not remove or insert lamps while the chain is connected to the supply.
22. This lighting chain has been UV treated and is recommended for short term outdoor use only.
