이 책의 주인공은 한 소녀다. 소년은 소녀를 좋아하고, 소녀는 또 다른 소년을 사랑한다. 소녀를 중심에 두고 아름다운 두 소년이 펼치는 아슬아슬한 삼각관계는 일견 순정만화를 연상시킨다. 소년과 소녀는 함께 버스 정류장에서 짜릿한 스킨십을 한다. 몰래 숨어 귀가하는 소년을 놀래주기 위해 기다리던 소녀는 숨어든 장소에서 또 다른 소년이 불쑥 나타나자 놀라 뒷걸음질 치다가 그만 놀래주려던 소년의 품으로 넘어지고 만다. 또 다른 에피소드에서는 소년과 소녀가 현관문의 작은 도어뷰를 통해 서로를 엿보고 매일 같은 시간 나타나는 상대를 기다린다.
그러나 이렇게 얼핏 평범해 보이는 사랑 이야기를 조금만 자세히 들여다보면 문, 거울, 엘리베이터, 달 등 소품과 장치를 통해 연결된 '평행 우주'를 만날 수 있다. 장면이 끊어지는 듯, 이어지는 듯 묘한 연속성을 가진 그림들이 각기 다른 장면인데도 섬세하게 연결되어 있음을 눈치채게 된다. 두 소년과 소녀의 사랑이 조금씩 줄다리기를 하는 과정을 지켜보면서 독자는 순정만화 같은 서사의 즐거움뿐 아니라 곳곳에 숨겨진 의미들을 해석하고 찾아내며 퍼즐을 조금씩 맞춰갈 수 있다. 꿈에서 본 작은 열쇠를 실제로 쥐고 일어난 소녀, 거울 속에만 나타나는 소년과의 키스.... 작가가 던져주는 단서들을 하나씩 모으며 책장을 넘기다 보면 이 책의 제목이 왜 [나의 순결한 행성]인지 알 수 있게 된다.

The main character of this book is a girl. A boy likes the main character, and the main character likes another boy. This book illustrates a love triangle that can be seen on the romantic cartoon. A boy and a girl were having a romantic contact at the bus stop. The girl was waiting for the boy, who she is crushing on, to surprise him in front of his house, then gets surprised by another boy who was crushing on her and eventually falls over to the boy she was crushing on. Another episode illustrates the boy and the girl are looking at the door view to see if the person, he/she is waiting for, is coming.
However, if you take a deeper look at their love story, you would see a parallel universe through the door, the mirror, the elevator, the moon, or other objects from the story. Stories may seem to be cut or continued by different scenes, but eventually they are connected by the continuity. The love story of two boys and the girl not only gives a joy of reading romantic comics, but also gives a joy of searching for hints and clues to solve the puzzle. The girl grabs a key that she saw from her dream, a kiss with the boy she only saw from the mirror, etc... By getting every hints the writer of this book gives, you will eventually see why the book title is "My Pure Planet."
