After two weeks I decided to wash everything after the cold/flu went through our house. The batting inside the comforter bunched (something that has never happened with any other comforter in my washer) put it in the dryer on low with tennis balls to get all the moisture out and when I removed from dryer several spots had faded drastically and the comforter itself was torn. I loved the quality before a wash but with two kids, construction worker husband and a dog I need something that can be washed at least twice a month. Cute design and super smooth and soft and so up to date. I love the decorative pillows that come with it, such a nice added bonus to this awesome design. LOVE IT!! I paired it with some coral and turquoise pillows and it feels like a hotel room instead of my guest room. The fabric is soft and it's light weight. Which is ideal for me since I get hot while I sleep. The pattern is very nice and classic. It has held up well so far. I haven't washed it yet so I'm not sure how it will look and feel after that. I have never had a problem. I went to wash the newly delivered comforter and it ripped in the washing machine to the point where I cannot hide or sew up the deformity. I chose it so I could use it with any color when I move. The comforter is fluffy and surprising is larger so it hangs nicely over the edges. The little decorative pillows are cute and nice and plump. Love that you can reverse the comforter.
