What's the difference between 18650 Battery Box and Normal Power Bank?
  • The biggest difference: you can replace 18650 battery at any time. That is to say, it can keep supplying power to your device all the time if you have several 18650 batteries. But Normal Power Bank can not replace battery when battery runs out. you have to recharge it.
  • One 18650 battery usually has 2000-3500mAh capacity. If a 18650 battery box can run 4-6 batteries that means 8000-20000mAh capacity you will get. This is enough for charging device for long times.
  • It is much safer to use replaceable battey as you can see what's in it. But those battery bank are built closed case . You never know how good or bad a battery in it. Sometimes you can see low quality battery bank explode in news.
