Personally I think that it is over price!
The point I like the most is that it does not involve code. There are also 11 colors of color variation and you can have a favorable feeling. Regarding the sound of the essence, there may be a difference if you compare it strictly, but there is no problem at all for what I use. Here is the point where "difference" comes up with "prejudice" against "sound". In the case of me, the earphone of about 10,000 yen I bought at Apple store in Ginza was broken and I bought it instead. Because I do not feel much difference, I think that if it is this price it is price suitable, or more than price. I use two or more iPads and MacbookAir in different colors.
