How to Determine Your Laptop / PC Monitor Size?


  1. Measure the Length and Width of your laptop/PC monitor
  2. Exclude the borders when measuring
  3. Check against the Measurement Table for your sizing

Tip: Some users prefer to cover the border as well. Hence a bigger screen is preferred even though the laptop/ PC monitor is smaller.

 
How to Install? (Two Methods of Installations)

Method One (suitable for those who need to take privacy screen off/on)



Method Two (suitable for thin borders/borderless)

Tip: Clean your laptop/PC monitor before installation. Removal of dust and dirt would increase the stickiness of the Privacy Filter tabs. A complimentary cleaning cloth is also included in the package.
 

Matt Side? Or Glossy Side?
Our Privacy Filter has both sides: Matt and Glossy. With the Matt Side facing out, it aids in reducing glare and protects your eyesight. But the privacy effect would not be so effective. With the Glossy Side facing out, the privacy effect is optimized. However, it would not be as effective in reducing glare.
Tip: Some customers prefer Installation Method One, so that they can flip the Privacy Filter and use either Matt and Glossy Side anytime.

 
Factors Affecting Privacy Filter Effect:
The effectiveness of the Privacy Filter is affected by the brightness of the screen. A brighter screen would reduce the effectiveness. Likewise, the effectiveness of the Privacy Filter is reduced at night-time, as compared to daytime.


Tip: Strike a balance by adjusting your PC brightness before installation. A brighter screen would also consume more energy in the long run.
