Boxer shorts can boost sperm count.

For about one-half of couples with fertility problems, experts say low sperm count is the cause. But maybe something as simple as changing the kind of underwear a man wears can make a difference.

According to recent study, men who wore boxer shorts during the day had significantly lower levels of damaged DNA in their sperm compared to those who wore tight underpants during the day and at night.

If switching to looser boxer shorts makes their partners get pregnant more often or quicker than those men continued to wear tight underwear.

Tips:

Don't wear tight pants -- particularly during sports activities. Wear loose clothing, especially if you sit for long periods of time.

Wear boxer shorts at all times.

Stay away from saunas and hot tubs.
