Blisters are probably the worst part about wearing and breaking in any new football boot. Traditionally, the double sock method has been used to reduce the chances of blistering, but with newer technologies available, Mammoth Sports has stepped into the scene with a product that not only helps to effectively eliminate blistering but also to enhance performance. Although it is just a sock, there is a fair bit of technology behind it. The main concept is that by eliminating movement within the shoe, the transfer of power will be maximized. Previously, slipping and sliding around in the boot makes you less explosive and can cause painful blistering after long usages. However, through non-slip pads on both the outside and inside of the sock, it had not only eliminated slipping but also makes your foot more secure within the boot. It is the same non-slip pads which come into play in eliminating the chances of blistering, as there is less repetitive motion between your foot, the sock and the shoe.
