Inspired by a school trip to Alaska back in 1971, two students set out on a journey to create their own range of outdoor apparel and accessories. Several years later - in the spring of 1974 - Marmot was born. Named after a species of mountain squirrel, the brand specialises in high-quality performance wear. Think technical waterproof jackets, insulating fleece sweats and thermal beanies, all made to withstand some of the harshest weather conditions.
