The HookUpz Universal Smart Phone Optics Adapter (IS-100) from Carson Optical allows users to connect a multitude of optics to their smartphones and then use their built in camera apps to take amazing pictures and videos. Use the IS-100 to connect your phone to binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, microscopes (including slit lamps), monoculars, borescopes and so much more! In regards to connecting your universal adapter to optical devices, the IS-100 fits onto optical eyepieces with an outer housing diameter between 20mm-58mm (0.8 inch - 2.25 inch) and a depth of at least 14mm (0.6 inch). Your optical eyepiece can be straight or slightly tapered but please note that complex shaped eyepieces may not work. The IS-100 is compatible with 99% of smartphones in the marketplace and can be used with or without a case - see the compatibility chart under the product details section for more details. The IS-100 features two point locking levers for phone alignment and also a releasable phone clamp that allows users to install and remove their phones quickly. Eyepieces held in the device are automatically centered, so only one initial phone alignment is needed, before you can quickly connect your phone to any optic. THE IS-100 IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH RIFLESCOPES AND PHABLETS. The IS-100 features glow in the dark rubber parts to increase visibility in low light situations. It comes with an EVA storage case that has an attached carabineer clip and a lens spacer for longer eye relief eyepieces.Feature
