The sides will keep the wigglers from moving, but the open area around the arms will let them have some movement. Movement is restricted, but only in a safe manner. There are silicone inserts on the bottom front that keep it from moving. The back, where the baby’s head rests doesn’t have them.

There are three open dots in the base that allow for drainage. Because the cradle is made of a hard, sturdy plastic it’s naturally “mold, mildew, & rust resistant.” There’s a 25 pound weight limit for the cradle. I do love the design, especially the fact that the cradle incorporates safety features.
