The proper use is to maintain a minimum tension to keep the mask in position. If the mask is shaped to follow the face, it take just a bit of tension to seal the face completely. Exhale seal-break is not an issue, important is that the seal must be there during inhale. Please note that Totobobo filter does not filter out CO or other gases. Issue 1) the mask doesn''t fit properly even after tightening it properly which occur condensation on my cycling glasses. The strap should not be too tight. Most importantly, the mask should be shaped to follows the user''s face almost completely (through ReShaping, or cutting the mask), it only need a bit of tension from the strap to pull the mask to make it seal totally (watermark seal check). If air comes out from nose bridge during exhale, it can be solved by adjusting the tension of the earloop, tighter above the ear and less tight below the ear. Issue 2) water condensation Water will be trapped inside any mask when doing exercises. This is both advantage and disadvantage of Totobobo: Disadvantage: -Water condensation builds up more quickly than other fabric mask. Advantage: -Water condensation can be quickly wipe dry and reuse. While other fabric mask is not so easy to wash clean, and it take a much longer time for it to dry for reuse. - Water condensation also helps to improve the seal and protection. Water condensed on the mask is clean water (condensation of pure water vapour).
