When children were exposed to playing the piano keyboard at an age earlier than when they were able to comprehend musical notations, they were more likely to become interested in music learning later on and develop further musically.

To continue the fine tradition of wooden pianos, Kinderclavier then introduced its own line of fine wooden pianos, with the aim of optimizing quality and value for its users. Kinderclavier’s wooden pianos are built to train proper finger stretch and intonation from the start.

The 18 key tabletop Kinderclavier consists of 1.5 octaves and is suitable as a first exploratory piano.  The keys are sufficient for one-hand play of simple songs.
