Binocular Overview The PCF WP series are characterised by their inner-focusing design developed by PENTAX, so size and weight are greatly reduced. The body housings are rubber-coated and waterproof to a depth of 1 meter and since they are nitrogen filled there is no need for worry if there are any sudden variations in temperature. These binoculars are designed to withstand the rigors of even the harshest of environments. All models of the PCF WP series have an eye point relief, of at least 19mm so that eye glass wearers can benefit from the full field of view and even the eye-piece ring can be folded back for added convenience. Additionally, all models offer a precise diopter adjust to match the eye sight of most users. This binocular was created for heavy duty applications. The rubber armoured waterproof body withstands weather, dust or rough impact. Add high imaging capability and you have a binocular that will accompany you to the extremes, on land or on water. Aspherical Eye-Piece Elements Edge-to-edge sharpness is a vital element to comfortable viewing. To achieve this we utilise aspherical lens elements in our eyepieces. This is a specially shaped lens design that reduces aberration to a minimum. High Quality BaK4 Prism A prism is a complex optical element necessary to correct the image the right way up and reduce overall length of the binocular. In a prism, light travels through complicated angles and so the quality of the prism glass used is of significant importance.
