Lavender is derived from the Latin word ''lavare'', which means to wash. It was the favored fragrance of Rome and was added to bathwater for a fresh, clean aroma. NOW Lavender Oil is steam distilled from Lavender plants. This French essential oil is 100% pure.

Not only is it soothing for bath water, massage oil or a perfumed oil but it also works to draw infection out. If I have a pimple, I put a little dab of oil on it and it goes away.
